Instructor Training Program



Participants learn cooking, macrobiotic dietary, lifestyle practices, theory, and philosophy of macrobiotics in this core and standardized program. The contents are equivalent to the curricula at Kushi Institute in U.S.A.

Students can learn Level 1 through 3. They will refine their skills and deepen their understanding of not only macrobiotic practices, but also learning the ethics and spirit to becoming responsible leaders of society. Completed students are certified at each Level, officially recognized by KIJ and its affiliates.

¡ Level 1
Students will learn natural order through an understanding of macrobiotic dietary and lifestyle practices, that will, in turn, help them realize life of happiness and health. Toward the end of their stay students may realize that they have recovered from minor ailments that may have been troubling them before they arrived. Their families and friends will also benefit from their studies.

¡ Level 2
Students will learn how to apply and adjust daily eating habits and lifestyles, according to personal, social, and environmental differences. Students will be able to guide their family, and friends to adopt a healthier diet and lifestyle, potentially relieving many ailments that they may be suffering from.

¡ Level 3
Students will learn about the connection between body and mind, food and spirit, and will understand how to achieve more peaceful mind. They will realize and experience that true happiness involves improving one's own diet. They will be able to share this information with their family and friends.
